The featured glass display cabinets with internal lighting are the perfect finishing touch for any kitchen to achieve the gorgeous look of Kitchens Victoria’s new display kitchen.

Panasonic continues its evolution in smart, energy-saving home appliances with the launch of the innovative new NH-P70G2 Heat Pump Tumble Dryer.

Panasonic’s heat pump technology uses power more efficiently than a conventional dryer by drying with low-heat air rather than a heater.

This protects delicates from damage, as clothes are gently dried at temperatures as low as 45ºC.

Conventional dryers use more energy through reheating the air and not being able to change the compressor rotation speed. In comparison, the heat pump allows the NH-P70G2 to efficiently re-use the existing heat in the drying cycle.

Panasonic’s exclusive inverter technology provides excellent drying results for all types of clothes, as it adapts the compressor rotation speed to the correct drying conditions. Drying at the low heat of 45ºC makes it possible to dry fabrics that are sensitive to heat, such as nylon and printed clothes.

The NH-P70G2 Heat Pump Tumble Dryer is available from home appliance retailers.

The pictured Mint Kitchen Group project designed by Frank Iaria is a meeting of modern luxury and timeless elegance. The classic contemporary kitchen was awarded Medium Kitchen Design of the Year – Victoria at the Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDi) awards gala.

The owners of the home are frequent entertainers and wanted a kitchen that was highly functional, but also had that ‘wow’ factor.

As the stained hardwood flooring and Laminex ‘Allure Oak Sandblasted’ timber veneer doors and panels are in dark tones, natural Calacatta marble was selected for the benchtops and splashbacks to open the space and add a sense of luxury.

Floor-to-ceiling cabinets house two fully-integrated fridges, as well as being used as a wall to conceal a powder room from the living room.

The completed project provides an abundance of storage areas and ample bench space. The colour selection, while stylish, doesn’t scream ‘modern’ in this period home.

This beautiful design by Lindsay Williams of Mint Kitchens by Lifestyle took out the awards for Best Kitchen Design and Renovated Kitchen ($40,001–$60,000) in the Housing Industry Association’s (HIA) prestigious Kitchen & Bathroom Design Awards in November 2013.

The design was also a finalist in the Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute’s (KBDi) design awards in August 2013.

White satin two-pack flat doors were chosen for the body of the kitchen, complemented by the ‘Blackwood Wave’ designer timber veneer in high relief.

The island bench is the hero, with the timber veneer backing panel providing a contrast to the muted colour of the stone top. The bench features double waterfall ends and a double under-mount sink. The inner-side includes a wine fridge, integrated dishwasher, bin drawer, and under-sink cupboard.

The result is another truly stunning kitchen that reflects the contemporary and individual style of the clients, while providing them with function and durability for years to come.
