Surfcoast Cabinets has embellished this coastal home with a stunning kitchen, laundry and bathroom, each of which showcase a contemporary design and refreshing colours to suit the dwelling’s location. True relaxation can be achieved in these spaces, thanks to their functionality and calming essence.

Clean white lines and bursts of brass imply a muted sophistication in the kitchen. The minimalist traditional profile cabinetry and the crisp, modern colour palette are a match made in heaven, complemented by the brassy Lo & Co handles and the matching tapware. Surfcoast Cabinets employed certain design techniques to keep the overall kitchen simple, which allows each element, from the undermount sink to the sleek waterfall edge benchtop and induction stove, to speak for itself. The raked ceiling, large window and skylights help highlight these graceful features and, by providing ample natural light, reduce the need for powered lighting – a nifty energy-saving inclusion.

Flowing through a pivot door that is cleverly disguised as one of the kitchen cupboards is a combined walk-in pantry and laundry. Here, the same traditional profile cabinetry and benchtops have been used for effortless consistency.

Employing a similar minimalist aesthetic to the kitchen and pantry, the bathroom evokes a sense of serenity through the cool-toned colours contrasted by the brass tapware and luxurious showerhead. A glass screen separates the walk-in shower and freestanding bathtub from the vanity, which supports a contemporary vessel mounted sink. Above the sink is a round mirror that lights up at a simple touch.
