Melbourne Joinery Services collaborated with the homeowner to achieve this modern-contemporary kitchen renovation, which has opened up the space considerably, and includes a comprehensive kitchen, butler’s pantry and discreet European laundry.

At the centre of the project is the striking kitchen; two-pack satin finish cabinetry in Dulux ‘Surf’n’Dive’ blue catches the eye and makes a stunning statement. These cabinets run along the main island bench and walls for smooth consistency. By selecting finger-pull handles, Melbourne Joinery Services maintained focus on the beautiful joinery work. Blum hardware has been utilised in the many cupboards and wide drawers, providing the homeowners only the best in quality for ease of use. Atop the cabinetry are Caesarstone Empira White benchtops – the perfect complementary choice.

Inside the butler’s pantry, Polytec Tasmanian Oak WOODMATT open shelves add a touch of warmth against the cool blue joinery and the patterned tiled splashback, helping to define this separate space. Ample storage for food and kitchen items, plus extra bench space for small appliances, offer a wealth of convenience.

A modern, space-saving solution for the home, the European laundry can be accessed through the taller kitchen cabinet doors. These open in a bi-fold fashion to avoid invading the space. The laundry is replete with a spacious sink, cabinetry and room for a washer and dryer.
