Brimming with warmth and modern luxuries, this kitchen design by the talented team at Smith & Smith Kitchens is a perfect example of how colour, craftsmanship and modern features can be blended in perfect unison.

Giving a nod to the traditional elements of the existing house, this kitchen was designed to provide fresh, modern conveniences while still retaining the charm and character of the home. A breathtaking palette of white, black and duck egg blue was used with discerning taste, creating a stunning yet seamless statement within the home.

At the heart of the kitchen, the newly placed central island bench encourages movement through the space. With shaker-profile doors painted in Dulux ‘Classic Calm’, the beautiful blue feature is balanced perfectly against the rich timber flooring and blackwood island benchtop – the style paying homage to the cosy comforts of traditional kitchens.

Matching shaker-style cabinets painted in Dulux ‘Whisper White’ with a texture finish are used throughout the remainder of the kitchen, establishing a calming atmosphere that balances the rich, statement colours. Pale reconstituted stone serves as the benchtops, maintaining the soft, collected colour palette that makes this kitchen renovation a standout.
