This striking monochromatic kitchen steals the show with its powerful linear elements and its fusion of modern and retro aesthetics. Designed for a busy young family, this kitchen provides a fun, functional and minimalist space for the homeowners
to enjoy for years to come.

Streamlined black cabinetry and integrated appliances create a sophisticated, clutter-free aesthetic to meet the homeowner’s brief. This is enhanced by contrasting natural timber accents with the strategic retro pendants, in-set wall cabinetry with Victorian ash veneer, and thick Tasmanian oak seating bench. Accompanying retro stools in a brilliant teal add a burst of colour and funky appeal to the design.

White Attica stone counters and Caesarstone splashback were chosen for their beauty and robust nature. The generous waterfall island bench is a welcoming presence in the room, perfect for entertaining in a busy household.

A central column punctuates this design; lengthened and wrapped in black to accentuate its presence, this pre-existing negative structure became its centralising feature, highlighting the exploration of linear power that gives this kitchen its showstopping quality.
