Andrew Mann Joinery Project 1

WELCOME HOME

Andrew Mann Joinery has had the pleasure of producing this custom, country style kitchen within a coastal town of Victoria. The innate brightness of the space is welcoming and lively, and the classical styling works cohesively with the joinery items to produce a homely feel, being a key objective of the owner.

The combination of the bold blue, clean whites and high ceilings has created a luxurious space, generous in both size and functionality. The centrepiece and focal point of the space is without question the bold blue island bench. With ample space to prepare food and extra room for seating, this design works tremendously to cater for the owners’ every need.

Despite its grandeur, Andrew Mann Joinery has managed to make this kitchen feel like the perfect ‘welcome home’. The classic choice of shaker-style cabinetry and the colour scheme, allows the homeowners to have a perfect combination of a classical but modern space.

As functional as it is charming, the owners’ needs have well and truly been met by Andrew Mann Joinery. Lined with many drawers and cabinets, this kitchen provides significant storage, and sizeable bench space, to ensure cooking within this kitchen is a dream. Cleverly designed panelling on the integrated fridge and dishwasher ensure that the homeowners have all the required appliances, without sacrificing the enchanting look.

With a passion for restoring heritage homes, Andrew Mann Joinery has certainly taken this home’s rich history into account with the creation of the new kitchen. The kitchen has been a seamless addition to the house, and the original framework of the ceilings, the kitchen effortlessly flows into the new space.

Despite the beautiful traditional touches on this kitchen, its function is nothing short of modern. The use of vibrant whites and the striking blue of the island gives the room a polished and refined look, echoing the desires of the modern Australian homeowner.

Andrew’s father, Bruce originally started Bruce Mann Joinery in 1961. Andrew spent much of his childhood growing up in the workshop with his father, eventually apprenticing under him in 1975. After many successful years working within the family business, Andrew took over from his father in 2000, and thus the business was renamed Andrew Mann Joinery.

Andrew’s wife Christine, is also involved within the business, primarily attending to the day-to-day administration. In addition, Andrew and Christine’s son, Jayden has followed in his father’s footsteps, spending much of his upbringing around timber, Jayden is now a vital component of the family business, and collectively they provide high-quality, custom-built joinery. Andrew and Jayden pride themselves on guiding their valued clients through every step of the process, from planning to construction.

Having spent more than 50 years in business, this has allowed Andrew Mann Joinery to be well-connected in the industry, with suppliers from across the world. These valuable connections allow clients to have access to virtually any timber species they desire.
