Mornington Peninsula Cabinetry Project 1
TEXTURAL TRANSFORMATION
Mornington Peninsula Cabinetry collaborated with Malli Studio designer and Five Built builder to create a breathtaking project comprising of a kitchen, bathroom and custom furniture in other living areas. The kitchen features a cool, minimal toned colour palette with a variety of textures that make it stand out. The kitchen island is an exceptional feature with a natural stone benchtop and a painted brickwork base, giving it a rustic personality. A hidden power point is installed in the kitchen island to maximise functionality. Aspen Elm makes up the stunning cabinetry, a neutral toned timber-looking material that enhances the cohesive style of the kitchen. To make the most of the space given, excellent design was used for the layout of the kitchen. A walk-in pantry was built with incredible storage and extra bench space, the perfect kitchen for a host and foodie.
The bathroom is a slightly different colour palette, yet still holds the same texture and uniqueness to pair with the kitchen. Featuring the same natural stone as the benchtop, the bathroom sink is a one-of-a-kind design. With a floating illusion, the base of the sink acts as storage and holds a warm, illuminating light underneath.
Polytec Pallido is also used in the bathroom and the solid pale grey-green colouring creates a beautiful contrasting surface to the timber and stone textures. This custom cabinetry is truly a standout piece of Mornington Peninsula Cabinetry’s already intricate and impressive portfolio.
