This stunning kitchen is a modern, open-concept space that effortlessly exudes style, while maintaining its functional criterion. The homeowner required the following for their kitchen transformation: expanded bench space, hidden storage, modern yet timeless design, open-shelving style pantry and bench-high seating for children to view the outdoors. What eventuated was a space that captures this vision perfectly.

Custom two-pack shaker cabinetry in Dulux Natural White offers a sleek, durable finish, complemented by Lavistone’s Statuario countertops and open shelving features in Polytec Florentine walnut. Handcrafted tile splashbacks add an artisanal touch, enhancing the kitchen’s charm. Traditional-style modern appliances keep the kitchen functional and fresh, while an island providing additional workspace and ample storage for the family embodies the heart of the home. Ambient lighting is achieved through generous windows and decorative pendant fixtures, while under-cabinet task lighting ensures well-lit prep areas in the butler’s pantry.

Every detail was executed at the highest level, wrapping the space in quiet luxury. The counter facing the backyard is the bay window component of the existing house layout, but with additional hidden storage underneath. A neutral colour palette drenches the space in modern timelessness, ensuring the kitchen feel fresh for years to come. The pull-out pantry in view of the main kitchen space allows for more hidden storage, with open shelving around the corner, out of view of the main kitchen space.

To increase functionality, the cavity slider door to the pantry area was removed. This allowed the space to be more efficiently used, achieving a grandiose sense of space that worked both aesthetically and practically. The white combination granite sink adorned with yellow-gold fixtures continues the design focus of quiet opulence with a backdrop of bright neutrals. Every detail upheld this aesthetic, with none too minor to play a vital role in the overall design.
