The Clay project by the team at Smith & Smith Kitchens is a striking example of how a white kitchen can be a truly breathtaking showstopper. The client envisioned a completely white haven – a crisp, cool and clean aesthetic with sleek door profiles. The team ran with the idea, crafting a sanctuary among leafy nature that quietens the mind while exciting the architectural eye. In one word, the project could be described as ‘minimal’ – the design taking a less is more approach to kitchen and storage. But the attention to detail is what sets the Clay project apart.

J-Groove profiles maintain the sleek appearance of shelving, enhanced by the crisp white colour of every surface. Ushering in sophistication and grandeur is the natural stone benchtops, drawing an eye to the subtle veining in the backdrop of pure white. The Terazzo flooring embodies a similar function, peppering the space with small accents of interest through shades of dark grey splotches. The arched doorway epitomises the space, a small detail that exudes luxurious charm.
