Designed by the homeowner and built by M & H Kitchens, this project is an example of the company’s skill for achieving the perfect blend of traditional style and modern elements.

A strong visual feature, the cabinet doors are made from solid jarrah. Featuring a classic cut and dark stain, the gorgeous grain in the timber is highlighted, making it a standout feature of the space. This attention to detail and appreciation for materials exemplifies M & H Kitchens’ passion for quality and strong aesthetic appeal.

The benchtop is made from Lithostone, a quartz-based engineered stone from Marble Centre Exclusive. This sleek and durable material finds a balance between the traditional aesthetic of the cabinetry and the modern elegance of the stainless steel kickboards and square bow handles from Eurofit Hardware.

Not only is the space beautiful, it is also highly practical. The homeowners requested a kitchen that was simple to navigate, with plenty of storage space and preparation areas. M & H Kitchens achieved this by positioning the appliances in clearly defined work spaces and utilising all the available bench space.

Storage spaces were maximised by employing overhead cabinetry and a large pantry – positioned conveniently next to the refrigerator. The ample cupboard space ensures the benchtop remains free of clutter, making it easy for the growing family to stay organised.

M & H Kitchens specialises in producing both modern and traditional style kitchens, completing 40 projects per year. Operating in Melbourne’s northern and eastern suburbs, the company also undertakes bathroom renovations.
