A SIMPLE AND PRACTICAL DESIGN

Designed by Jordan and Jacinta, who are contestants on a new show called Dream Home on Channel 7 that is set to air next month, Arko Joinery created this beautiful masterpiece in just six days that will undoubtedly ‘wow’ the contestants, viewers and judges. As is the nature of the show, the owners of the home where clueless about the style and design of their kitchen until after the competition, but the kitchen’s simple, practical design that seamlessly harmonises with the rest of the house makes it hard not to love.

The kitchen features modern appliances and plenty of storage space. A contemporary, pale grey Laminex boarding clads the cabinetry. This gives the kitchen a clean, sophisticated atmosphere, furthered by the clean lines provided by the Caesarstone porcelain countertops and the waterfall edge on the kitchen island. The kitchen island features a fluted appearance on the base, making it texturally appealing. Brass handles, tapware and timber floorboards are illuminated by the warm lighting, creating a cosy, homely feel to the space.
