COS Interiors was approached by one of its regular builders, Appetite For Construction, to complete a full-house joinery fit-out for this beautiful Port Melbourne property. Featuring high-quality finishes, the resulting designs look absolutely stunning, down to the finest detail.
The spacious kitchen design by Thomas+Williams Architects features a range of functional elements that provide everyday convenience and make entertaining a breeze, such as the Blum AVENTOS lift-up cabinets, which are located above the cooking zone.
The striking tapware complements the black fridge, which integrates with an appliance cupboard to maintain a sleek appearance. To keep bench space free, COS Interiors installed HAWA-Concepta pocket doors that fully recess into the appliance cupboard. To achieve a modern aesthetic, rebated handles were selected for the cabinetry. Navurban prefinished board in ‘Ravenswood’ was selected for the cabinetry along one wall, which is softened with the addition of hand-selected American oak timber veneer and Elba marble. The island bench was designed to seat family members and guests along two sides, which encourages a social atmosphere.
The contemporary bathroom – also designed by Thomas+Williams Architects – features similar materials to the kitchen to create visual continuity throughout the home. The space is fitted with a range of functional features, such as the mirrored shaving cabinets, which provide extra storage. Light is welcomed into the space, which makes it seem larger than it really is.
