Damco Kitchens

Damco Kitchens has created a space that boasts the ‘wow’ factor without compromising on practicality or ergonomic considerations. With a spacious island bench that functions as a primary work station, as well as an aesthetic focal point, the featured kitchen is a joy to spend time in.

The colour palette, comprised of Laminex Crystal Gloss in ‘Charcoal’, is punctuated with splashes of Laminex Crystal Gloss in ‘Ash White’, providing visual interest as well as a durable surface for the high-use doors and drawers. Complementary Quantum Quartz in ‘Reflections’ adds another light-coloured counterpoint to the charcoal doors, and has been used in 40mm for the kitchen bench and 100mm on the island top.

With abundant drawers, easy-to-use automatic Blum ServoDrive overhead mechanisms, a massive corner pantry, plenty of hidden storage and expanses of bench space, the L-shaped kitchen has been designed to provide for effortless movement and food preparation.

Designed by Damco Kitchens’ designer Nikool Kotecha, the kitchen is also packed with green living features. Natural light floods the space via the door and the window/splashback, and highly energy-efficient Miele appliances and water-saving taps have been incorporated, along with LED lighting.
