There is much to admire in the kitchen, from the moulded doors and skirting, to the turned posts, corbels, fretwork and dentil mouldings. It is truly a kitchen that can be enjoyed for years to come.

A two-pack Patina finish was used on painted areas, including the doors and skirting boards, and a combination of handles and knobs in a metal pewter finish were placed on cabinets throughout the room.

The eye-catching benchtop is made from stone and grey iron bark solid timber, while the splashback is comprised of glass tiles. The classical feel of the room is further enhanced by parquetry flooring and feature downlights.

GMD Architectural Joinery was established by Anthony Mellino and David Galtieri in 1995. Since then, the company has become renowned for its high quality and unique design solutions.

The skills of GMD Architectural Joinery’s cabinet makers have been acknowledged by industry associations too, with the company winning the prestigious Cabinet Makers Association of Victoria’s Cabinet Maker of the Year award in 2009.

In the same round of awards, GMD Architectural Joinery also picked up the award for Best Commercial Project.
