Victorian designer Patricia La Torre had a stunning backdrop to work with when creating this kitchen. The peacefulness of the interior, combined with a cooking area that was designed to encourage socialising, called for a rangehood that would be beautiful, efficient and silent. The 900mm Butterfly Island Rangehood by Schweigen ticked all the boxes.
The rangehood is striking in its appearance and remarkable in its performance. Twin halogen downlights (with an LED option available) illuminate the cooking area, while stainless steel, dishwasher-safe filters thoroughly trap oils and grease. The control switches are clearly visible and easy to use, and positioned at the front of the unit to avoid the build up of oil. A fifteen-minute automatic shut-off timer also ensures odours continue to be removed while the food is served.
