Country Lifestyle Benchtops brought this beautifully renovated kitchen to life by installing a stunning benchtop that perfectly ties in with the home’s Hamptons theme. The result is a fully harmonised space boasting warmth and sophistication.

The homeowner’s heart was set on transforming their tired kitchen into a welcoming, fresh and homely room; the wormy chestnut timber benchtop effortlessly helps to create this feeling. Thanks to the large size of the allocated space, Country Lifestyle Benchtops was able to extend the main island top to 2.9 metres wide and 1.1 metres deep, including an overhang for extra seating. The water-based Cabot’s clear coat stain gives it a smooth, shining finish, complementing the hardwood floors found throughout the adjoining lounge room and the rest of the home.

Working closely with the designer at Kitchens U Build, who supplied the gorgeous crisp white shaker-style cabinetry, Country Lifestyle Benchtops was able to ensure all the elements in the kitchen worked well together; the clever choice of lovely light timber warmly contrasts with the white cabinetry and strengthens the aesthetic of the gold hardware and handles.

A charming bar area was added to enhance the overall kitchen, replete with bench space and two floating shelves in matching timber. This brings the room together and is a great idea to utilise the extra space in a simple yet effective way.
