De Wacht Cabinets Project 2
Constructed by de Wacht Cabinets & Design, the first pictured modern kitchen features a highly functional, zoned layout and minimalist styling. The company’s founder Craig de Wacht worked with the architect of the space to mirror the innovative qualities of the clients’ home, which has a six-star rating for energy efficiency.
The slanted island bench is the highlight of the space and provides an ultramodern atmosphere. CDK Stone’s Neolith in ‘Basalt Grey’ was selected for the benchtops and splashback, while a complementary Dulux ‘Guild Grey’ finish was chosen for the cabinetry. The existing timber floor adds warmth to the space’s monochromatic colour palette.
The cabinetry is fitted with finger-pull handles for a streamlined aesthetic, which is enhanced by the integrated appliances. Positioned close to the kitchen, a walk-in pantry and island bar create the perfect entertaining space. Featuring a Kesseböhmer CONVOY Centro unit and a Häfele E-Touch opening system, the pantry is highly functional and easy to access.
The second pictured project features sleek lines and luxurious finishes. The cabinetry’s Dulux ‘Antique White’ finish fosters a bright and welcoming aesthetic. To enhance the kitchen’s storage potential, a large butler’s pantry and an abundance of drawers were installed. The English Tapware Company’s shell-shaped handles and knobs provide an elegant touch.
Established by Debbie and Craig de Wacht in 1998, de Wacht Cabinets & Design was originally managed out of their own garage. Through countless exultant client recommendations, the company quickly grew into the flourishing business it is today.
With three qualified designers on hand, the company offers its services for all styles of projects, from traditional to modern. Servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas, including the Mornington Peninsula, de Wacht Cabinets & Design works alongside experienced tradespeople to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard.
