Dovetail Cabinets believe in providing clean, innovative designs with balance and accuracy – qualities showcased in one of its recently completed projects in Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula. Delivering the kitchen, kitchenette, bathrooms, laundry and study areas, collaboration was key in bringing to life the vision its clients had for their new home.

Designed to maximise the beautiful, native landscape, Dovetail Cabinets’ design embraced neutral earthy tones, smooth lines and clean finishes – harmonising with the natural surrounds. The connection both visually and physically between the indoor and outdoor areas was paramount, with aspects like the gas-strut window opening up between the butlers pantry and alfresco space.

⁠Key themes have been carried across the home to ensure the overall aesthetic is unified. Warm timber elements are combined with suede grey finishes and clean, crisp countertops. From long island benches to extensive vanity units, Dovetail Cabinets welcomed the challenge to increase the scale and add impact in a new and natural way.
