Kitchen Update Project 1

This large, luxurious kitchen boasts expertly made cabinetry, using a combination of subtle woodgrain and solid-coloured surfaces.

The client asked to have the space redesigned to incorporate more storage, and to fit a magnificent butler’s pantry, and the experts at Kitchen Update went above and beyond to achieve this. A central island bench was cleverly designed to allow for wide storage space, sitting comfortably in the centre of the kitchen to allow free passage between the island bench and the cabinets.

The doors and panels were installed in Laminex chalk white and Laminex classic oak with Quantum Quartz Bella Carrara benchtops and splashbacks. The light colours add a sense of space, while the woodgrain cabinet doors and finishes give the kitchen an organic, homely feel, creating a sense of serenity for those cooking, preparing, and eating in and around the area. This combination results in a clean, minimalist aesthetic in an immensely welcoming, open kitchen space.

This kitchen is well-equipped with the latest kitchen technology, including a Vintec wine fridge, Smeg induction cook top, Sirius undermount rangehood with a warming drawer, a Miele dishwasher, Franke sinks, a KWC pull out spray sink mixer and additional drawer storage. These appliances were carefully selected to make using this kitchen an enjoyable and hassle-free experience.

A trio of minimalist pendant lights hang above the island bench, both illuminating the workspace and adding another layer of sophistication to the kitchen. The dark, matte colouring matches perfectly with the window frames and provides a welcome contrast to the light silver fixtures.

The elegant gutter cornice was custom made for this stunning kitchen to match perfectly with the all-round handsome design. The sleek contemporary features of the kitchen harmonise perfectly with the classical elegance of the home, creating a space that is both crisp and warm.

This space is open and airy with a high ceiling and big windows that flood the space with natural light. For optimal family living, the kitchen connects seamlessly to the living area and dining room, and a side door grants access to the outdoor barbeque area, creating a seamless flow throughout the home. Thanks to its clever design, the kitchen acts as a hub, where the household can come together and share a meal and enjoy each other’s company.
