The Real Carrara Marble Mosaic splashback tiling used in the laundry is repeated here, adding a depth, and creating contrast from the surrounding white cabinetry.

This continued use of the white panelling with black handles further unifies the home. To add a cosy and traditional feel to this space, Kitchen Update has instead used shaker-style cabinets, the design evoking a sense of nostalgia in the room. The clever use of drawers within cabinets ensures that the design elements shine while still providing maximum storage for this family.

The generous island bench is the centrepiece of this magnificent kitchen, finished with another stunning Caesarstone benchtop. The unique choice to add an exquisite Australian Messmate timber extension to the island at a lower level allows the homeowners more options for seating, or to use the surface as a separate serving space for dishes.
