Let’s Talk Kitchens & Interiors Project 1

Let’s Talk Kitchens & Interiors created an engaging and functional kitchen in a small 4m x 4m space. Designed specifically for the client’s needs, it was intended to easily function with multiple people using the kitchen simultaneously.

The kitchen flows into the living area with a consistent pale colour palette and the texture of the wooden floorboards is mirrored in the light-brown finish on the cabinetry. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a large honed ‘Antique Brown’ granite island bench, which adds an extravagance to contrasting the pale hues.

Cleverly designed by Markus Sawatzki, the cabinetry provides ample storage space while seamlessly fitting all major appliances to create more floor space. The renovation included relocating the sink onto the island bench so that the benchtop along the side wall could be more functional. The original skylights in the kitchen deliver energy-saving natural light into the space.
