Supplied by Newgrove Benchtops, this magnificent product is made from two parts natural minerals and one part acrylic resin – no quartz or silica – and its beauty, versatility, strength and seamless style make Corian an enduring choice for any working surface. The home’s architect, Mills Gorman Architects, envisioned smooth curved panels and edges for the grand island bench, which Newgrove Benchtops easily achieved through thermoforming; a process that involves heating Corian sheets to 180 degrees Celsius and then placing them into a mould to achieve the shape and form your heart desires.
