CRAFTED WITH CORIAN

The remarkable curved kitchen island by Newgrove Benchtops is undoubtedly the focal point of this kitchen design. Expertly achieved by a process called thermoforming, this rounded centrepiece is crafted with Corian, a silica-free stone alternative that is regarded as the safest benchtop option in the industry. This means that fabricating, installing and removing benchtops by Newgrove Benchtops poses no risk of silicosis to clients or their workers.

With colours such as ‘Rain Cloud’ and ‘Glacier White’, it’s no surprise that the benchtops used throughout this project flow seamlessly from one to the other. One of the unique advantages of Corian is the ability to create inconspicuous joins. Corian sheets are ordered in consecutive batch numbers, ensuring that the grains flow harmoniously throughout the benchtop design, and this further accentuates the continuous quality of this project.

Having a skilled lead fabricator like Justin from Newgrove Benchtops was a fundamental asset to completing this design. Over two decades, Justin’s exposure to diverse Corian projects has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and innovative ideas, allowing him to complete creative and difficult designs to a high standard.
