This spacious kitchen was expertly constructed by Nickson and Burke to provide the homeowners with a highly functional space. Designed by Hande Kurtulus from HK Design & Interiors, the space has a mix of modern and contemporary design elements for striking visual appeal.

To meet the homeowners’ request for an easily maintained kitchen, Nickson and Burke installed a butler’s pantry to minimise clutter. As part of the home’s renovations, the existing staircase was removed and load-bearing support walls were installed to allow the company to achieve the spacious design the homeowners wanted.

The cabinetry features a mixture of doors, including Tesrol 560 series finished in two-pack paint, as well as a ‘NATURAL’ Wenge timber veneer from George Fethers & Co. that is cohesive with the home’s European-oak flooring. The benchtops and splashbacks feature luxurious calacutta marble for a modern aesthetic. The cabinetry is fitted with Blum hardware – including LEGRABOX drawers, AVENTOS HF lift-up doors with SERVO-DRIVE and ORGA-LINE drawer dividers – to increase ease of access.
