Q Bathrooms Project 1

The Q Bathrooms team worked closely with the clients to achieve this cool and contemporary en suite. With a brief to create a solid, well-thought-out design, Q Bathrooms employed subtle yet highly effective features and quality materials to bring the homeowners’ vision to life, and the result is simply amazing.

The first thing to catch the eye is the bold frameless shower screen with its matte black edging, which stands out strikingly against the pristine Calcutta porcelain wall tiles. This smooth matte black effect continues in the walk-in shower, through the tapware and heated towel rail. For further luxury, a large niche in the wall serves as a shelf for shower products and is even lit up with an LED strip light.

Blackbutt hardwood timber veneer forms the floating vanity, adding a spot of raw warmth among the cooler tones that dominate the bathroom. For cohesion, the above counter basin is also matte black, exuding a clean and modern aesthetic. A frameless round mirror sits above the vanity to contrast against the straight lines of the design.

Q Bathrooms constructed his-and-hers walk-in robes either side of the open entry to the en suite, per the homeowners’ request. A large skylight has been installed at the centre where these three spaces meet, keeping the entire area feeling light and spacious.
