This beautiful provincial-themed kitchen was designed by Paul Smeaton from Select Kitchens & Bathrooms. The homeowners had recently demolished an existing wall to make space for the extravagant and highly functional kitchen they wanted. With an abundance of high-end cabinetry from Farmers Doors, the kitchen is both visually appealing and practical.

With a ‘Crème Mocha’ finish, the Waratah-style cabinetry exudes provincial elegance. Featuring a mantel, wine storage shelves, a plate rack and food baskets, the space was perfected down to the smallest detail.

Stunning glass display cabinets were installed to show off the homeowners’ luxury fine-china collection. The benchtops feature Caesarstone in ‘Symphony Grey’ with ogee-style rollover edges, while the splashback showcases gorgeous mosaic tiles. Select Kitchens & Bathrooms custom-made every detail of the cabinetry for consistency in quality and a cohesive result.

Blum hardware was installed in the cabinetry for ease of access, while a Vauth-Sagel ‘Wari’ corner pull-out system was incorporated to increase storage potential. A convenient oil drawer is positioned beside the stove to promote a streamlined cooking process. Select Kitchens & Bathrooms also custom-made a buffet unit, which features high drawers that little ones can’t reach.

The additions of a ribbed butler’s sink and traditional Zip tap add enhance the kitchen’s elegant provincial aesthetic. Pewter-finished die-cast Kethy handles were selected for the cabinetry doors as a charming finishing touch. The integrated microwave and fridge allow the classic beauty of the kitchen to remain unhindered. Select Kitchens & Bathrooms also included a complementary ribbed window pelmet.
