This kitchen by Select Kitchens & Bathrooms goes back to basics with a classic layout and neutral-toned finishes. The crisp lines of the bright-white cabinetry and benchtops highlight the soft edges and warmth of the circular raised Tasmanian oak breakfast bar, making it the standout feature of the space. The breakfast bar transforms the design from something basic into a space that complements the owners’ lifestyle, providing the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a drink before dinner.
The light and airy space provides the owners with a blank canvas to add their own personal touches, and the timelessness of the largely white palette allows for plenty of customisation. Featuring Polytec ‘Classic White’ melamine doors and panels in a sheen finish, satin chrome bow handles and pristine Caesarstone benchtops, this kitchen is sure to stand the test of time.

The core element of this kitchen is its practicality, which inspired the layout as well as the fixtures, finishes and appliances. An integrated wall oven and a cleverly positioned microwave nook enhance the design’s functionality, while a large bench adjacent to the induction cooktop makes food preparation near effortless. The smooth surfaces and open-plan design allow for an easy clean-up.

Handle-less overhead cabinets, multiple drawers, and a separate small appliance nook help maintain a neat and tidy appearance without compromising usability. Working with the existing layout of the home, the expert team at Select Kitchens & Bathrooms cleverly disguised the bulkhead, ducting the rangehood through an external wall in the laundry. Additionally, the plumbing and electrical services were hidden within the pantry structure. The company’s great attention to detail ensured a seamless integration of all elements.
