This exquisite kitchen design by Phil Watson of Select Kitchens is the perfect demonstration of the company’s ability to incorporate ample storage and highly functional features, such as the 39 drawers in various sizes, while executing a refined and opulent aesthetic.

Modern colours and timeless features combine through the Tesrol Design two-pack ‘Spada Grey’ and ‘Cashmere’ satin finish cabinetry with classic Castella Bentleigh handles. The Neolith Strat Argentum Porcelain splashback complements these tones perfectly, continuing that sense of luxury and class. Select Kitchens installed a generous FOTILE cooktop with three widely spaced burners, which will easily fit larger pots and pans. Next to this stove is a nifty Zip tap with instant boiling water to accompany the coffee machine, allowing easy operation and cleaning without constant movement back and forth to the main sink.

Across to the other side of the galley-style layout is the long island bench. Smaller portable appliances can be plugged into the retractable cylinder power board – an extremely smart and functional inclusion that contributes to this practical yet stylish cooking zone. The bench extends to a breakfast bar area for casual dining.

All the lighting in the kitchen, from the miniature ‘eye’ spots in the display cabinets to the downlights over the cooktop and the ornate Beacon pendant lights over the island bench, are energy-saving LEDs. The Fisher & Paykel smart fridge also has a function to let the homeowners know when the door is slightly open, benefiting both the home’s expenses and the environment.
