Beginning its life as a laundry and separate toilet, this elegant guest bathroom was completely transformed by Simply Bathroom Solutions. Designed by Mark Van Keeken, the space is brimming with visual appeal. The homeowners wanted to offer visitors an airy, spacious bathroom with a touch of sophistication and style.

To achieve this, the team removed the connecting walls and external doors, creating a generous 3.6m x 2.5m space. Due to the inclusion of three types of tiles, visual treats abound wherever you stand in the room. The unique Bisazza ‘Night Vision’ tiles add a touch of opulence, while the large-format tiles provide subtle balance. An exquisite third texture is introduced with the addition of delicate, three dimensional hexagonal tiles found within the wall and shower niches.

Abundant storage was a must for the homeowners. With this in mind, Simply Bathroom Solutions installed a lavish wall-mounted vanity, and a 1500mm x 1000mm mirrored cabinet that blends beautifully into the tiles around it. Thanks to the high ceilings, the large cabinet does not alter the scale of the room, while the walk-in shower, fitted with frameless glass panels, furthers the clean lines, allowing the feature tiles to shine.

Plenty of natural light floods through from the new, well-placed window, which is complemented by thoughtful mood lighting installed beneath the cabinet and in the wall niches, giving the bathroom a warm, welcoming glow. Hanging proudly above the vanity, the pair of Murano glass pendant lights are a functional yet aesthetically pleasing addition.
