Simply Bathroom Solutions Project 5

Designed by Michael Urwin in close collaboration with the homeowner, this elegant and versatile oasis expertly fused together three separate rooms into the one expansive, free-flowing space – ideal for rejuvenation. A cohesive colour palette between the fixtures and fittings within the bathroom creates an essence of continuity within the space, deliberately crafted around the focal elegant feature tile mural. Accompanied by sleek black fittings and custom, water-saving Faucet Strommen tapware to offset the mellow tones of the floor and tiles, this sophisticated bathroom exudes contemporary style, with a foundation of functional practicality.

Predominantly used by growing children, this bathroom was designed as such – accommodating for their growing needs throughout the years, and into early adulthood. Within the space, each child is able to utilise their own individual basin, accompanied by ample storage, including a floor to standing vanity, a wall-mounted cabinet, and the design even includes a niche storage space within the shower recess area – perfect for hosting bathroom essentials.

A handheld shower unit is located just next to the bath for ultimate convenience, while the space’s generously sized, frameless walk-in shower includes two vertical heated towel rails within easy reach. With a thorough knowledge of the home’s initial 1960s design and original three separate rooms, Simply Bathroom Solutions even included a preliminary builder’s inspection to safely remove an internal brick wall, enabling the creation of the one, unified bathroom space.

The black floor-mounted vanity with two above-counter basins is beautifully finished with a copper terrazzo benchtop. Two individual black mirrored cabinets add an architectural finish to the vanity area. The stylish wall-hung mirrored cabinets feature an open shelf in black to tie in with the vanity area.
