Designed by Beth Paron of Smith & Smith Kitchens, this gorgeous Hamptons-style kitchen renovation is aptly located in Hampton, showcasing a cheerful colour palette, a functional layout and harmonious design choices.

Traditional and contemporary elements fuse together, creating a timeless style that has all the functionality expected of a modern, hardworking family kitchen. Originally the layout involved a constricting U-shape but is now open and accessible with an L-shape and spacious island bench in the centre, improving access to storage. Furthermore, the more liberal use of drawers maximises the capacity of the kitchen.

Pale blue provides a welcome break from the all-white colour scheme often seen in Hamptons style. Smith & Smith Kitchens has paired this beautiful blue with pretty whites, making the shaker-style cabinetry and Caesarstone ‘Organic White’ benchtops a heavenly combination. This engineered stone bridges the kitchen’s classical and contemporary elements and looks divine. Castella Century handles and knobs in satin nickel are a lovely finishing touch.

An integrated fridge keeps the overall look clean and uncomplicated. By discreetly hiding the Fisher & Paykel fridge behind the stunning cabinetry, the in-built wine fridge better catches the eye, showing off this luxurious feature. Other state-ofthe- art appliances are fitted into the kitchen, including not one but two NEFF ovens, a Bosch dishwasher and a Franke sink.

Bi-fold cabinet doors that match the rest of the kitchen also form a secret entry to the walk-in butler’s pantry. Here, the homeowners have the option of wide drawers, overhead cabinets and open shelves for accessible storage and functionality, plus an extra bench for appliances, illuminated by LED lights.

Consistency is achieved throughout not just the kitchen but the entire home, with the same stunning cabinetry installed in the adjoining open-plan living room and the laundry, proving Smith & Smith Kitchens masters at seamless renovations and design.
