Another stunning kitchen transformation, Smith & Smith Kitchens has replaced a 90s kitchen with a more contemporary and functional version that was in keeping with the original design of the home. The deep wooden accents here emanate an aura of style and urbanity.

This modern space also boasts a retro tone as it features warm timber tones and grey Creppo Di Gris tiles. These warm interior tones match the detailed wooden ceiling beautifully. While opting for a fresh new colour scheme, the homeowners  still wanted to stay true to the home’s traditional design. This was done by keeping the structure of the kitchen the same, however Smith & Smith Kitchens revitalised the space and ultimately changed the tone of the room.

The traditional ‘L’ shaped countertop elongates the space, while the more linear configuration of the kitchen allows more room for storage. The grey splashback pairs seamlessly with the dark flooring and adds to the kitchen’s sophisticated and trendy look.

Fixed in the centre of the room is the magnificent wooden table and island. These strikingly large wooden pieces catch the eye and add to the kitchen’s retro impression. The stacked island bench features a separation from the preparation space and the seating area using timber and stone, two contrasting materials.

This space is accompanied by three solid wooden stools with black cushioning that matches the one on the dining bench. Radiating chicness and style, this kitchen is also incredibly functional, offering comfort and practicality to its homeowners.
