Streamlined and stylish features were the focal point for this triumph of contemporary kitchen design. The client wanted a space that was modern, sleek and inviting. They desired a kitchen that utilised black without darkening or cramping the space. To avoid this, the team landed on deep, soft black cabinets in combination with a high shine mirror splashback, white benchtops and a highly textured exposed brick wall. These broadening elements are critical to the spaciousness of the kitchen, with the mirror especially allowing the for the illusion of expansion.

The design makes use of luxury materials and features, including StyleLite ‘Carbon’ Truematt finish, YDL Rosemee stone and handle-less drawers with bevel edges. This kitchen design achieves a modern, open feel by balancing deep black cabinetry with reflective and light-enhancing elements. Thoughtful material choices and a focus on spatial harmony ensure a sleek, luxurious and inviting space that never feels confined.
