LIVING IN REFINED LUXURY

The inspiration for this beautifully composed kitchen design was the natural stone slab chosen for the project, a stunning Volakas Gold marble with beautiful, soft veining and a warm colour palette. The client fell in love with the stone instantly and the space was built around it, resulting in a harmonious design that spotlights the stone gorgeously.

The renovation of this Carlton home, designed by Janine Carter Design has created a truly warm and inviting space – from its custom timber veneer joinery, understated brushed nickel tapware and its crowning jewel the Surface Spectrum Volakas Gold Marble gracing both the benchtops & splashback.

The existing space was compact, however clever joinery and shelving provides optimal storage and styling opportunities for the homeowner, the vaulted ceiling creates height and gives a more spacious feel, while the softly curved island creates flow and eliminates hard corners, lending itself to a truly refined and luxurious feeling room.
