Seeking something free-flowing, the homeowners tasked the company with creating a spacious, bespoke kitchen, where everything from joinery mouldings to hallway cabinets was individually crafted. Director of TailorMade Cabinetry, Joseph Patto,collaborated with an in-house design team to create a custom-made kitchen which maximises light and bench space.

Embodying an airy, neutral colour palette, the kitchen’s elegant splashback, marble benchtop and island bench stuns with subtle grey veining. The captivating gloss bench tops are moisture-resistant – the perfect hardwearing addition to an often labour-intense area. With its timeless arch and downlighting, the stunning rangehood is a focal point within the zone; another custom-made inclusion in the impressive kitchen.

Boasting quality Smeg appliances alongside a selection of overhead cabinets and under-bench drawers, this kitchen flows seamlessly from the cooktop area, through to the sink and freestanding island. Showcasing further functionality,the kitchen includes a vast butler’s pantry with an additional sink, appliances and optimal storage. The team at TailorMade Cabinetry even helped craft a wine cellar for the home, with a range of shelves, pigeon-holes and glass cabinets to store vintage bottles.

A treat for the senses, the property’s lush bathroom is complete with a sleek double basin and mirror. The classic white joinery unites the two sinks together with shared central drawers, while separate under-bench cupboards provide independent storage solutions.

From modest beginnings back in 2000, TailorMade Cabinetry initially rose to prominence creating cabinets and kitchens in a small Melbourne factory. Today, the family-run company completes an impressive 200 to 350 kitchen and joinery projects each year.
