Pure Design Projects
Pure Design Projects is renowned for providing expert service to its valued customers. The company offers unsurpassed quality and customer satisfaction, and specialises in the supply and installation of all types of natural stone, reconstituted stone and porcelain for kitchen benches, vanities, fireplaces, flooring, walls, stairways, foyers, facades, bathrooms, furniture, tiling, outdoor paving and stone signage. Great pride is taken in all projects, especially when it comes to custom edging, which gives the work an extra-special finished look.
For this project, the homeowners wanted a functional and inviting design for their kitchen and bathrooms that did not compromise on the impressive craftsmanship for which Pure Design Projects is so highly regarded. To achieve this, the design team used plenty of distinctive stone-work, leather-look finishes and eye-catching accents to create impressive spaces that blend luxury and liveability with finesse.
The kitchen exemplifies Pure Design Projects’ sleek and sophisticated craftsmanship. The spacious, open-plan kitchen is centred by a grand island bench and breakfast bar that commands attention. Featuring backlit onyx legs and crafted from natural limestone in ‘Rainforest Brown’, the island bench gives the unique impression of tree roots inserted into stone.
To achieve uniformity throughout the space, the splashback and the island benchtop are both crafted from the same unique leather-look, natural limestone that’s used for the island. The splashback behind the sink doubles as a sliding window, which provides tranquil views of the outdoor greenery. Antique-inspired handles complement the wrought iron that is featured predominantly throughout the home.
A separate pantry and plenty of surface space ensure the kitchen is simultaneously beautiful and functional. The kitchen includes a generous amount of luxe, stone-crafted power outlets that ensure the homeowners can enjoy a number of state-of-the-art, four-star energy rated stainless steel appliances, including a Samsung fridge, a Delonghi dishwasher, cooktop and oven, and an InSinkErator food-waste disposal unit.
An outdoor kitchen and dining area flows seamlessly from the indoor space, and features a flush-mounted stainless steel barbecue and wok-style hotplate. The alfresco barbecue benchtop and splashback are fashioned from eyecatching porcelain slabs, making this the perfect outdoor space in which to cook and entertain in style.
The two truly sumptuous bathrooms are designed to deliver the last word on relaxation and indulgence. Featuring decadent, floor-to-ceiling white Carrara marble slabs, the first bathroom is spacious and bright, and the everlasting shine of the glossy marble helps to create an elegant, timeless space. The bathroom boasts a generously sized shower, as well as two backlit vanities fashioned from Antolini ‘Blue Agate’ semi-precious stone, which contributes to the opulent atmosphere.
The second bathroom features a mix of white Carrara and Grigio Carnico marble, which is similarly applied from floor to ceiling to achieve seamless continuity between the two spaces. Chrome and matte-black tapware add sleek and modish accents, while the soaking, step-up bathtub is the perfect place to luxuriate in the lavish surrounds.
Both deluxe bathrooms are excellent examples of the high standards to which Pure Design Projects holds itself; each project is completed to the exacting needs of the client, and the result was nothing short of exceptional.
