After Smith & Smith Kitchens’ Rowville factory sustained extensive damage due to a seized bearing, the concentrated heat within the building rendered most machinery inoperative. 2019 saw the transformative rebuild of the space, with the Rowville factory back in full operation. Brand new machinery and equipment has allowed the company to produce kitchens and cabinetry of the highest quality. Some of these new additions include spray boots and ovens with amazing finishes.

As a testament to Smith & Smith Kitchens’ quality and workmanship, the team was nominated for several prestigious awards in the 2019 Australian Cabinet And Furniture Association (ACFA) Industry Awards Night. The company was also named the winner of Best Laundry and Best New Kitchen $30,001-$50,000 at the 2019 Housing Industry Association (HIA) Victorian Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.
