RTW Cabinets

Ryan Wilson established RTW Cabinets eight years ago and the company has been steadily growing since. Specialising in custom-built kitchens and joinery, the business mostly fits out complete homes, from the kitchen to the outdoor area.

This fit-out by RTW Cabinets includes the kitchen, wardrobes, bathroom, and bedroom cabinets. The brief for the kitchen was for a modern-looking space with abundant storage, clean lines and high quality finishes. The clients needed a kitchen that would suit their busy lifestyle and love of entertaining. Functionality was essential, with good working areas and ease of use being highly important.

The initial layout of the kitchen was designed by the client, who then worked closely with RTW Cabinets to achieve the final design and desired finish. The kitchen flows into a butler’s pantry, which is the main working area, as well as a large appliance cabinet with sliding pivot doors, which conceals appliances when they are not in use. There is also a separate walk-in pantry for groceries and a large island bench with seating space.

RTW Cabinets installed a range of design features and products to achieve the clients’ vision for the space. Caesarstone benchtops, two-pack painted doors, Blum soft-close doors and drawers, Hafele sliding door fittings and finger recesses on doors have all been used to achieve the contemporary, minimalist look the client desired.

RTW Cabinets works with architects, designers and clients directly and offers clients joinery in 3D so they can visualise how the project will look well before construction. The company only uses high quality products and everything is made to order and built and installed by RTW Cabinet’s cabinetmakers.

The business prides itself on providing excellent quality craftsmanship and service. Aiming to provide quality, not quantity, RTW Cabinets builds about 50 kitchens each year. The company covers a broad area, from the Mornington Peninsula to the city, and also does a lot of work in bayside suburbs.
