The owners of this home wanted a social, practical space that would create a contemporary feature, central to the home when entertaining. The kitchen was designed to be family-friendly with a modern edge, incorporating zoned cabinetry and electric-touch release drawers with soft-close technology.

Upon entering, the colour palette is striking, with a combination of two-pack matte finish panels and timber veneer panels. The warmth of the timber is accented by the stone benchtops and polished concrete flooring.

The rear wall was utilised to create an extended bar, while a contemporary cantilevered island bench is the dramatic centrepiece of the space.

While encompassing sophisticated style and luxurious comfort, the home’s ensuite bathroom also meets the homeowners’ need for a practical design with a modern edge.

The ensuite features two-pack matte finish open shelving, clean-cut edges with flush panel timber veneer cabinetry and a stone vanity with ‘scooped’ basins. The polished concrete flooring of the kitchen has been carried through to the ensuite, which in lieu of a shower base, creates a streamlined aesthetic.

With an evident intelligent use of space, the open-plan layout also uses soft-close drawers and features a laundry chute discreetly incorporated into the joinery.
