Urban Kitchens

This kitchen features a stunning blend of classic and contemporary design elements. With a sleek minimalistic appearance and no clutter, the kitchen epitomises modern living while still complementing and blending with the adjoining dining room, which has been fitted out with more traditional décor.

Utterly beautiful, the kitchen has truly become the centrepiece of this home. The dark palette is a sophisticated and standout quality of the kitchen, but the room doesn’t just look great, it’s practical too. There is copious storage, provided by lots of drawers throughout the room, including in the pantry.

The entire room is handle-less, the fridges are integrated to save space, and drawers have been made extra wide for maximum storage. Designed by Con Moshopoulos from Urban Kitchens – who is a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute (KBDi) designer and member – the kitchen is an invaluable addition to this home.

Carbon Micro Polytec Createc was used on doors and panels, the benchtop is made from spectacular Calcutta marble, and the splashback is bronzed mirror. Each of these elements combines to create a striking kitchen that has in no way compromised on functionality. Miele appliances and stainless laminate kickboards were also selected to enhance the room’s unique aesthetic.

Urban Kitchens specialises in cutting-edge contemporary design and high-end joinery for discerning clients who are looking for something out of the ordinary. The company works throughout the CBD and suburban Melbourne.

Focusing on quality rather than volume, Urban Kitchens builds between 50 and 80 kitchens annually. A key priority of the business is to work with clients to design the best possible kitchen for them, and to install the project in-house. If your kitchen is part of broader work, Urban Kitchens can refer you to a builder if you wish. For a kitchen that makes a statement, call Urban Kitchens today.
