Renowned for its sustainable and elegantly crafted kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings, Danish brand VOLA has opened its first Australian showroom in Melbourne.

Designed by long-term collaborator and head of design at Link Arkitektur Torben Madsen, the 100m2 Collingwood showroom encourages an immersive retail experience, and captures the VOLA brand values and design DNA, while also celebrating the heritage of the building that houses it. The stimulating display offers a range of unique solutions to traditional bathroom fixtures, while its modular designs, vibrant tapware and beautiful craftsmanship excites the imagination with creative potential.

On the night of its much-anticipated launch, guests were amused by functioning taps, basins in place of ice buckets, and Madsen himself, who appeared to speak about his influences, VOLA’s rich history and the construction of the Melbourne showroom.

While Madsen spoke about the finicky design process and VOLA’s strict attention to detail, it was his obvious passion for design that spoke volumes about the new products, which were lovingly designed and created in conjunction with the company’s team of specialists.

For decades, VOLA has captured the European imagination, and it’s easy to see why. Its timeless quality and the company’s willingness to evolve is what gives the VOLA brand its international appeal. It can only be anticipated how Melbourne will grow to admire this beloved Nordic treasure, which continues to inspire communities across the globe.

Visit the showroom to explore the unique display and test the products and water flow for yourself! The space also hosts events, product training and team meetings for VOLA partners, as done in all VOLA showrooms around the world.
