Simply Sophisticated

Better Bathrooms & Kitchens skilfully designed this harmonious, simple kitchen that brings a sense of calm and freshness to the home. With a unique and innovative design, the kitchen, dining room and laundry are the perfect fuse between sophistication and simplicity.

Maintaining a complementary colour palette, this stunning kitchen features a splashback of sea green subway tiles with warm white LED backlighting that perfectly accentuates the marbled design. The backsplash tiles being a soft, coloured feature of the kitchen, combined with the simple white, handle less cabinetry, exudes elegance and tranquillity. Contrasting to the splashback, the pale grey, stone countertops bring a sense of modernised sophistication into the space, while the simple appliances create a relaxed balance. With limited space, the amount of cabinetry and bench space available is an example of Better Bathrooms & Kitchens’ expert knowledge and craftmanship.

A unique feature of open wood shelfing, which is integrated with the sleek cabinetry, creates a natural accent to the space. The open and geometric design of the shelving allows for a distinctive display space which support the inviting aura of the kitchen design.
This bright and airy kitchen is illuminated by a stream of natural light from the glass back door that also overlooks the dining area.

Adjacent to the kitchen, custom cabinetry provides more openness and space for the home. Featuring a recession for the fridge to sit, as well as shelving and more storage, this area becomes an ideally designed functional space. The signature white cabinetry that sits juxtaposed to the natural wood shelving is incorporated throughout the space, providing continuity from the kitchen to the hallway.

Another feature of this project is the staircase storage that has been added. With a simple white door that blends in smoothly with the staircase, the door is accentuated with a natural wood panel frame. This design choice creates a seamless transition between the kitchen to the upstairs area, while also optimising the existing space to create more storage.

Beside the kitchen, the dining room sits basked in natural light which promotes the spacious relaxed feeling of the space. It is an uncrowded space where a five-seating light timber dining table set sits in the middle of the room. Continuing with the natural elements of the home, a light wood-framed mirror sits on the wall, opening the bright and airy space even more.

The laundry room continues with the ‘maximised storage, minimal space’ theme of the home and features wood-accented white shelving for optimal utilisation.
