Specialising in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, custom cabinetry and more, Better Bathrooms & Kitchens, was behind the creation of these outstandingly elegant contemporary spaces.

This bathroom, laundry and kitchen were created in collaboration with Concepts by Gavin Hepper and have been modernised and sophisticated at the homeowner’s request. The mood is clean, contemporary, and inviting but these rooms are also very practical.

Sleek, linear tiles and smooth wooden surfaces frame these airy spaces, which are flooded with natural light. The state-of-the- art appliances and fittings complement the comfortable yet highly functional rooms that are perfectly adapted to the homeowners’ daily routine.

The stylish bathroom and ensuite both have glistening white tiles and custom fitted cabinets with larger tiles in the main bathroom and distinctive finger ‘Kit-Kat’ tiles in the ensuite. The ‘Kit Kat’ tiles are Japanese inspired and give the space a rustic charm and quaint feel. These tiles match perfectly with the custom-made solid messmate Timber Assembly vanities, the Neolith ‘Arctic White’ benchtops and the brushed nickel tapware by ABI interiors.

In the main bathroom, the Isabella Corner Bath from Fienza is made from vacuum-formed acrylic and is both lightweight and hardwearing. The corner bath is not only stylish but a marvellous space-saving option that allows the bathroom to feel roomy enough for a long, relaxing soak in the tub.

This kitchen is a great space for designers to work with as it boasts ample space, floor to ceiling windows and a sloped roof with panelled timber ceiling. Better Bathrooms & Kitchens used this to their advantage by installing elegant cabinets in Fenix ‘Nero Ingo’ and a pantry in Fenix ‘Bianco Malè’. The benchtops are Neolith ‘Arctic White’, mirroring those in the bathroom, which perfectly complement the dark cabinets and benches.

On the convenient and stylish island bench, the Franke sink and tap perfectly combine form and function while the bench itself is lit from above by an expertly designed custom pendant light. The bench attached to the opposite wall, is fitted between shelves and cabinets holding kitchen essentials in a discrete yet fashionable manner. And, in the laundry, the benchtop sees further continuation of Neolith ‘Arctic White’ and sits alongside built-in cabinets in Laminex ‘Baye’, a wardrobe, a generous amount of bench space and a sink positioned in front of a window that extends across the space.
