Let’s Talk Kitchens & Interiors built this eclectic kitchen for a family of six, with ample storage and modern features that blend with the recently renovated house. The renovation included the installation of a mud room and a laundry, which reflects the modern and contemporary aesthetic of the kitchen.

Dulux ‘Taihape’ paint was used on the two-pack shaker-profile cabinetry doors to blend with the era of the property, as well as Laminex ‘Bleached Wenge’, which adds a modern touch to the historical property. Uniquely designed to cater for four children, the finishes were chosen for their durability and easy maintenance.

The striking Calacatta Dorato marble island bench is the centrepiece of the kitchen. Its shadow line and 20mm square edge offer a modern aesthetic, while the benchtop has been treated for stain resistance. The addition of a Zip HydroTap system – which supplies instant hot, cold and sparkling water – and a Vintec wine fridge provides a touch of modern luxury while also creating the perfect entertaining area.

This kitchen is well-equipped for large-group entertaining, featuring a butler’s pantry, expansive island bench with drawer storage, two dishwashers, rubbish and recycling roll-out bins, two stainless steel Sub-Zero fridges and an enormous Wolf freestanding stove, as well as a custom-built Qasair rangehood.
