REFINED ELEGANCE

With liberal use of striking natural stone, this captivating kitchen is the focal point no matter where you are in the house. For this project, the client wanted their new kitchen to be modern, bold and exude a premium feel while maintaining an elegance and simplicity that would see it stand the test of time. Using contrasting joinery to frame the focal feature of natural stone, this design showcases Mint Kitchen Group’s superior quality workmanship.

The client also emphasised their desire to remain connected to their guests while using the kitchen, envisioning it as a social space. Making best use of the limited space available, the kitchen transitions seamlessly into the living, dining and outdoor areas to allow ample entertainment space centred around the stunning island. Its central location positions the island as a casual dining space, a preparation bench or a gathering space, all without impeding movement around it

The layout of the kitchen optimises accessibility and openness to meet the functional demands of the kitchen. The integrated fridge is placed well outside the line of the island, near the adjacent lounge room to grant ready access at all times. A tall pantry with five roll out shelves creates symmetry, balancing the dual wall oven unit which ensures all catering needs can be met. To maintain the theme of minimalism and keep the focus on the natural stone, an integrated dishwasher, undermount sink and hidden rangehood were utilised to minimise the visual footprint of appliances.
