Mint Kitchen Group
For this project, the clients wanted to reconfigure their kitchen to improve workflow, create a spacious aesthetic, update the pantry, and maximise the natural light available. In order to transform the once disjointed kitchen into a harmonious space, the team at Mint Kitchen Group designed the new layout around the existing benches to allow for better functionality and visual appeal. To ensure the benches would remain clutter-free, the company installed a designated appliance bench with deep drawers at the rear of the kitchen. Featuring a LeMans corner unit, and a mix of tall and shallow pull-out drawers, everything in the kitchen has its place, and can be easily accessed at a moments notice.
Showcasing bright white two-pack cabinetry, a sleek glass splashback, and stunning Caesarstone ‘Organic White’ benchtops, the space has a fresh and airy look.
During construction, Mint Kitchen Group faced multiple challenges that were overcome through careful consideration and clever thinking. By changing the kitchen access point from a hinge door to a sliding door, the company was able to accommodate for the refrigerator. A new bulkhead was created to line up with the cabinetry and allow the new Sirius rangehood to be ducted to the triple-brick exterior wall.
