A major reworking of an existing kitchen has resulted in the striking, clean design featured here by Mint Kitchen Group. Prior to the renovation, the kitchen was dated and lacked storage space, making it an impractical work area. With a vision for a new and much-improved kitchen in mind, the clients sought a design from Mint Kitchen Group that had maximised storage and bench space, and large, separate preparation and serving areas.

In addressing the brief, Mint Kitchen Group installed handle-less soft-close cabinets fitted with Blum Tandembox technology. There is mood lighting above and below the cabinets, twin waste bins with compost compartments, and a large oil and spices drawer. The clean, symmetrical lines and minimalist aesthetic of the handle-less drawers were also key in achieving the clients’ requests.

Easy to clean, easy to use and genuinely stunning, the kitchen features products and appliances that enhance the contemporary look and feel of the design and boost the kitchen’s visual appeal.

Cabinet doors and panels have been fitted with Laminex and finished with a 2mm pencil edge in Dulux Natural White Gloss. The complementary benchtop is 40mm CaesarStone Pure White, while the contrasting Glasskote Starphire splashback in metallic grey adds an interesting counterpoint to the dominant white palette.

An Electrolux Induction cooktop, Qasair rangehood, Westinghouse refrigerator, Franke Planar undermount sink and Bosch ovens and dishwasher have been used in the kitchen, augmenting the required practicality of the room.
