COHESION IN DESIGN

This project by Mint Kitchen Group perfectly exemplifies clean, minimal design with its integrated appliances, creating a kitchen that is practical, spacious and timeless. The client’s brief called for a kitchen that is functional, top quality, beautiful and complementary to the rest of the home. She wanted to create a seamless flow between the kitchen and the living room, without a definitive division between the spaces. Mint Kitchen Group met this brief with exceptional craftsmanship, creating one large, cohesive area with two different functions.

Also sharing the space with a dining table and fireplace, it was important that the kitchen was not too loud, busy or overwhelming. Instead, it needed to blend with the space to allow the spectacular artwork and beautiful dining set the capture the attention. To achieve this, carefully selected integrated appliances and a simple colour scheme were implemented. A deep Dekton island bench and matching splashback bring a sense of sophistication, with gorgeous veining details adding a layer of texture. The cabinetry, two-pack painted with a Whisper White satin finish, maintain the simplicity of the space, allowing the statement pieces to shine.
