Displaying a fresh, contemporary design and cleverly functional features, this bathroom revamp was the work of the experts at SK Renovations. With a brief to create a space for two growing young boys, the SK Renovations team went above and beyond to deliver on this request, incorporating all the necessities for comfortable modern-day living.

The bathroom’s simplistic yet effective layout is a result of collaboration between builder and client, and includes a spacious shower and luxurious bath. By continuing the bathroom’s floor tiles through to the base, and using a custom, fully frameless screen, the shower is a seamless addition. A subtle recess has been made in the classy white herringbone tiles to form a nifty shelf for shampoo bottles and soap, reducing potential clutter.

Along with the understated downlights, SK Renovations installed a fabulous Velux skylight. Letting in loads of natural light at all hours of the day, this is a clever solution to replace bathroom windows, providing adequate privacy and mould prevention.

The timber vanity brings a touch of warmth to balance out the combination of three different textured, cool-toned tiles, which all work cohesively within the space. A wide mirror above the sink is framed in the same timber and doubles as a cabinet for extra storage. SK Renovations ensured all of the fixtures and fittings from Reece and ABI Interiors were placed at optimal heights for young children, while allowing for future growth.
